2026

October 2026

  • ConsoleX: a new homepage and a new workspace. Home shows what ran, what needs your attention and what runs next; Tasks, Chats, Capabilities and Library each have their own section.
  • Save as task: turn any chat into a reusable task in a few steps. AI organizes the conversation into instructions and suggests checks for the result.
  • Task templates with a built-in definition of done: ready-made tasks for content repurposing, personalized outreach, research, meeting notes, competitor reports and more, each checking its own results.
  • Templates are checked before they run: missing connections, keys and blanks are flagged in place, and you can try a run before the schedule starts.
  • Acceptance criteria for any task: keep the default standard or let AI draft a checklist from your instructions.
  • Clearer run results: failed runs explain why in plain language with a suggested fix, every run shows its cost (with checking cost listed separately), and result emails include a summary and a link to the report.
  • Run with new materials: start a task from its Run menu with new files or text; the saved task stays as it is.
  • Run trajectories: step through each run’s model turns and tool calls to see what happened and where the cost went.
  • Optional fix suggestions after a failed check. You review every change; nothing is applied automatically.
  • One place for tools and Skills: a single Capabilities list where you connect services in place and star favorites, plus one + panel in the composer for files, tools and Skills.
  • Default capabilities: choose the tools and Skills new chats and Agents start with. Each chat, task and Agent then keeps its own list.
  • A tool you turn off is no longer used, even in a reply already running. Tools an MCP server adds later wait for your approval.
  • A simpler composer with a Faster–Smarter reasoning slider, and Quick Snippets with highlighted [blanks] to fill in.
  • Pinned Agents now appear in the chat sidebar, with one-click unpin.
  • Reliability: failed tool calls are no longer charged, interrupted scheduled tasks no longer run twice, and schedules keep your local time.

September 2026

  • ConsoleX for Mac: a desktop app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs, with a new Downloads page.
  • Artifacts library: everything the assistant builds is saved privately, with search, type filters, stars, a full-screen view and a link back to its chat.
  • Quality checks for scheduled tasks: set acceptance criteria (generated or picked from presets), check every run automatically, and read a report with evidence for each criterion.
  • Improve tasks from their results: get suggested instruction changes from a checked run or your own request, review the diff, apply it and roll back at any time.
  • Scheduled tasks get their own pages with run history, checks and version history.
  • New models: GPT Image 2.5 (Flare and Sunburst, with transparent backgrounds), MiniMax H3 and Seedance 2.5 for video.
  • Model hub: filter by provider or keyword, and test a model’s connection in one click.
  • Import Skills from the Hermes Skill Registry, and fork a conversation from any AI reply.
  • Reliability: replies now reconnect automatically after a dropped connection.

August 2026

  • The Agents page is now organized into Pinned, Preset, Custom and Shared with me.

  • Auto-recharge: top up credits automatically when your balance falls below a threshold you set.
  • A clearer usage page: plan allowances (3-hour and weekly), credit batches with expiry dates, and separate usage and top-up records.
  • Star your favorite Skills for quick access.
  • Better rendering of Markdown tables and math in chats and shared pages.
  • A refreshed ConsoleX logo.

June 2026

  • Talking Avatar: turn an image and an audio clip into a talking video.
  • Video upgrades: upscale videos, add reference images, and set resolution, aspect ratio and duration.
  • Expressive text-to-speech with MAI Voice 2, including emotional and storytelling styles.
  • Starred assets: star images, videos and files, and find them again in the Starred panel.
  • Use your own Skills in agent chats, scoped to that conversation.
  • Image and video generations keep running in the background and appear even after you leave the page or refresh.

May 2026

  • Introducing memories: save and manage your personalized memories for a more tailored AI experience.
  • Agent sharing: Users can now share their agents with others, enabling streamlined collaboration with team members.
  • Task handoff between agents: Users can now hand off tasks to other models or agents, just by chat.
  • Credits system redesign, doubled usage limits for paid plans, and more transparency into usage.
  • Enhanced task management features, including sorting tasks by folders, initiating new tasks inside folders, and better search capabilities.
  • Anonymous chatting: Users can switch to an anonymous mode for chats without saving history, in one click.
  • Context compression level: Users can now adjust the context compression level for their tasks, better balancing performance and cost.

March 2026

  • Introducing virtual home directory: a personalized and persistent storage space for each user, allowing AI agents to save and retrieve files across sessions for a continuous experience.
  • New affiliate program with enhanced benefits for referrals and partnerships.

January 2026

  • Introduced Agent Skills for more reliable agentic workflows. Support for both using prebuilt skills and uploading and deploying compliant skill packs
  • Parallel conversations: start a new chat while another is still running.
  • UI refresh: unified Add button, My Stuff dock (Files/Prompts/Skills) with drag-and-drop, starred chats, and a faster Assets generation/remix workflow.
