Once set up, simply present your task to the AI in the conversation interface. The model will automatically plan the task and select appropriate tools to accomplish it. You can freely switch between different foundation models to experience their unique approaches to tool usage.

Custom Tool Configuration Made Easy

When using preset tools and MCP servers, while many tools work immediately without configuration, some tools allow optional using custom configurations, and some other tools require personal configuration before use.

tool configuration
  • Tools with no key: No configuration is required.
  • Tools with gray key: Supports custom configuration but not required.
  • Tools with red key: Requires custom configuration before use.
  • Tools with blue key: Currently using custom configuration.

We take your credential security seriously! All user credentials are stored with encryption and only decrypted at runtime on the server using your own private key stored in database.

Cost Structure of Using Tools

Some preset tools are free to use, others are paid for usage. Using paid preset tools consumes credits based on three billing methods:

  • Fixed cost per tool call
  • Dynamic calculation based on third-party API costs
  • Dynamic calculation based on token/word pricing

Using your own tools or preset tools/MCPs with your custom configurations doesn't incur any fees. All credit consumption details are available for review in your credit usage details.

Add Custom Tools and MCP Servers

If the preset tools don't meet your needs, ConsoleX offers exceptional extensibility. You can extend LLM's capabilities by adding custom tools or MCP servers to create more personalized workflows:

  • Add Custom Tools

Adding your custom tools is easy. First step is to create a JSON Schema for describing your tool. The format is consistent with the OpenAI Function Calling format. You can also use AI to generate the JSON Schema from natural language.

Then you need to custom the invocation method and the endpoint of your tool. It can be a custom HTTP endpoint or an third-party AI workflow you created by Dify, n8n, make.com, etc. You can also use mock data to test your tool without customizing the endpoint.

  • Add custom MCP Servers

You can easily add custom MCP servers that are accessible from the Internet by HTTP. If you want to connect to locally running MCP servers, you can use MCP-Connect.

The Future of AI Agents

As large language models evolve and agent development frameworks mature, 2025 will be the year AI agents truly explode in capability. ConsoleX AI serves as an Agentic AI Playground, helping both LLM users and developers deeply understand various models' tool-calling abilities and styles.

Create autonomous intelligent agent workflows that genuinely boost efficiency in your daily work and life. The future of AI assistance is here, and it's more capable than ever before!
