- Master Plan users can use any standard models and tools/MCP without consuming Credits.
- When using advanced models and tools/MCP, you also won’t consume Credits as long as you stay within the rate limit.
If you’re a heavy Agentic AI user, you can seamlessly continue past the plan’s rate limit by enabling pay-as-you-go. Additional calls beyond the rate limit will be billed in Credits based on actual usage, so your workflow stays uninterrupted.

Q1: What happens if a Master Plan user exceeds the rate limit?
A: If you exceed the rate limit, you can still continue using advanced models and tools by turning on pay-as-you-go:
With pay-as-you-go enabled, additional calls are paid with Credits. If you choose not to enable pay-as-you-go, you’ll need to wait until the rate limit resets to use advanced models and tools again.
Q2: What are ConsoleX AI’s rate limits? How are multipliers calculated for different models and tools?
A: The current rate limit is 50 standard calls every 3 hours. Different models and tools use different multipliers based on cost. For example, a call to Claude Sonnet 4 counts as 1 standard call, while a call to Claude Opus 4 counts as 5 standard calls. We reserve the right to adjust rate limits as needed.
Q3: How are multiple calls within a single Agentic task counted?
A: In an Agentic task, the system may automatically run multiple independent calls to complete a complex instruction. Each model/tool call is converted into standard calls using its multiplier.
Q4: When using Auto Model, how does the system choose a model for Master Plan users, and how does that relate to rate limits?
A: When you use Auto Model, the system considers your plan and your current rate-limit status to route and choose models automatically.
- If you’re within the rate limit (or over the limit but pay-as-you-go is enabled), the system can assign models based on task complexity. For complex tasks, it may route to advanced models like Gemini-2.5-pro or o4-mini.
- If you’re over the rate limit and pay-as-you-go is not enabled, you can still use Auto Model, but the system will no longer prioritize advanced models for you.
Q5: During Agent chat, do built-in models and tools also follow the rate limit?
A: Yes. For Master Plan users, built-in models and tools invoked within an Agent chat also follow the same rate-limit rules.
